World We Imagine - Part 3

Keep Up the Kindness Movement - #passiton

One of the things I value most in people is kindness and everything related to kindness (empathy, compassion, etc.). I feel as though that trait is one that can truly make the world go round. That being said, I would love to create a movement where the primary goal is do kind things for one another, and continuously pass that kindness on. I've seen social media videos where someone buys a fast food meal for the person behind them, then that person does the same, and then the chain keeps going; I would love for my movement to have a similar style. Not just for fast food of course, but for anything kind, whether it is helping someone cross the street, or just letting a stranger rant to you about what they're going through. My mission of the Keep Up the Kindness Movement is to continue kindness and just pass it on to others.

My organization is unique because these acts of kindness will be performed on a global scale, both in real life and digitally. As I mentioned before, a big part of the movement involves helping people in person. It's especially nice because you can connect with someone first-hand and see them, talk to them, etc. in a physical space. But with today's technology, it could be cool to even document these acts of kindness on a Keep Up the Kindness app (shoutout to Angel for writing this idea in his comment). It would be similar to Reddit, where people can write short posts about something they did for something (without giving too much information of course, animosity is important), or something they would like to do for someone. I think the app could inspire more people to continue doing nice things for one another, and people can even connect with each other through the app and help each other even if they are not in the same room. For example, one person in China who speaks Mandarin could help another person across the globe by giving them short 5 min lessons for free everyday. I feel like stuff like that could really make the world a happier place for everyone, and the small, little things in life really add up over time.

I would hope that Anima Mundi Development Partners supports my organization because the goal of the movement is to just do good in the world, and I seriously think we could use more good, especially now. With everything going on such as wars and devastating pandemics, I just thought it would be nice to have people do kind things for one another. There's so many stories out of there of people having a better day just through receiving one compliment or one smile from a stranger. I can only imagine that if everyone receives some sort of act of kindness, it can lead to everyone having brighter days in this usually dark world.
